Ceylon black tea is a popular type of black tea that is also known as Sri Lankan tea
and known for its brisk, bold flavor and aroma, with hints of citrus and spice.
Served as a refreshing beverage, freshly brewed and hot or as an an iced tea. Adding
lemon, sweeteners, and/or milk to smooth its strong flavor and reduce bitterness- it is
a favorite beverage for many tea drinkers.
Finely cut Ceylon black tea, is made from smaller, broken tea leaves that are often
chopped or shredded. This grade of tea brews more quickly and has a stronger, more
intense flavor than whole leaf tea. Finely cut Ceylon black tea is commonly used in
tea bags or tea blends, as it is easier to package and brew quickly.
